This Friday we had to go to Rotterdam for school, and we were allowed to fill in the day just like we wanted. After visiting 'Museum Rotterdam', Fien, Sunna and i decided to have lunch somewhere. The original plan was to go to 'Zeeuwse Meisjes', but after figuring out it was full we changed the plan. Curious which places we found? Click on the read more button!
Ps. I'm currently also working on a The Hague city guide. Do you have any tips after seeing this post? And do you like these kind of posts?
Walhalla
Almost next to 'Zeeuwse Meisjes' we found this amazing place called Walhalla. The space was so colourful and because of the huge windows it felt very refreshing. And lunch made it even better! For just €3,00 i had toast with fresh hummus, egg plant and rocket salad (see my instagram for a photo). Perfect for us poor students ;)
Originally it's a theater, so if you want you can also come on a day when there is a play, and have a nice wine after! If you're lucky there's a costumer who can play piano since there's a beautiful one standing in the corner, which makes the atmosphere even better!
Address: Veerlaan 11
Fenix Food Factory
After having lunch at Walhalla and visiting the Photography Museum (recommended!) we saw a campfire and decided to walk towards it. Entering the shanty we were all a bit blown away by the huge surface, filled with small 'shops'. Seven entrepreneurs are located here and together they make a perfect match for everything you could want for dinner, and after! They have a cider shop (first one in holland) for example, a bakery, a brewery, and a food shop with products straight from the farmer (definitely try the fries with truffle mayonnaise, i have never had such good ones!).

Posse
Across Walhalla and next to Fenix Food Factory you can find Posse, a beautiful industrial building where a café/restaurant/vintage shop is located. Sunna and i decided to have a couple beers here, and we couldn't have picked a better spot! The fire places, music and amazing mix of industrial and old furniture make the perfect surrounding!
Address: Veerlaan 13
Ja de veerlaan is zo leuk! Ik heb het daar ook ooit toevallig ontdekt toen ik er een feestje zag vanaf hotel new york aan de overkant!

Fabulous photos! You are well suited to do a city guide, indeed! I love the last restuarnt the most,
Fosse? because it was so cozy and eclectic inside, with vintage furnishings, too,.
The other restaurant that used to be a theatre sounds wonderful, too, love the low cost, and that someone can come by and play piano!

P.s. lief dat je op me wilt stemmen, maar Sans-online kiest zelf een winnares uit. Fingers crossed! XO
