I'm actually quite proud of myself that i made this jacket. Is it okay to say that?
When i started with sewing lessons 2 years ago i hoped for this result but didn't dare to say it out loud. Last month i stopped with the lessons because i need to focus on preparing my portfolio and the upcoming exams. I always enjoyed going there and everyone was so sweet and caring! I would have lóved to go there for a longer time, but i think it was the right time to quit. And after all i successfully finished my target: a jacket!

Celebrated my birthday this weekend ("when is this birthday bullshit finally over?" i can hear you thinking. don't worry, this is the last post about anything birthday-related) 3 times (i just like parties) (and i like presents) (OK lets stop using brackets) and i had the bets times! I only thought of taking photos one evening, and since most of them aren't blog-material i haven't got a lot to show you haha. But i would like to show you my presents and some photos that áre blog-worthy!
Oh, and i also got my driver-license from dad!

Oelala, i'm in love with my new camera and lens! Taking photos never went so easy!
Down below you can see my birthday outfit, including my foil dress. I get quite some looks and comments from strangers normally, and although this piece isn't the winner, it dóes come close. Most people wonder if i'm really walking around in tinfoil but i can tell you that that's not true ;)

It's my birthday!

I turned 18 today waaaaah. Quite a weird thought that i'm getting so 'old' already, although that isn't an argument for acting old if you ask me ;)
This morning i woke up and received the bést present: a Nikon D600 with a 50 mm 1.8 lens!!!!!!! Still can't believe it, thank you so much mom, bas, grandma and grandpa! My sister also bought me a lovely jumpsuit, and when we celebrated 'sinterklaas' this weekend i got instant films for my polaroid camera. I couldn't be happier :)

This weekend i'll be celebrating 'sinterklaas' with the whole family, and i'm so looking forward to see them all again! Sadly one of my sisters can't be there because she just moved to Germany, but she'll be around at christmas. And after the small family-reunion, it's my birthday again on monday! Gosh, time is going so quickly!
