Favorite show

Sunday, 23 March 2014

Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter 2012 still remains to be my favorite show, even after 2 years. I love the fact that there's no music at the beginning of the show, which makes it kinda uncomfortable to watch but also more interesting. The main focus is on the clothes and styling which is the intention of a fashion show, right?
And about the clothes (or should i say pieces of art); ooooh everything is so beautiful. I could dwell on it for hours and hours. The shapes are so unusual and there are colours everywhere! My favorite looks must be this one, where it looks like the dress is worn inside-outthis look with an amazing coat, and this full outfit, which you may have already seen here.
Now go on, go watch it yourself, your homework can wait!

Overdone

Monday, 17 March 2014

I haven't been feeling very well lately, therefore my absence on the blog. (According to the doctor) i'm under too much stress, which causes lots of physical complaints and i'm kinda sick of it (ha-ha, you get the joke, ha-ha). On top of that my boyfriend and i broke up, and i didn't get accepted at fashion photography :( Of course i'm already allowed to go to lifestyle & design, but i really really wanted to do fashion photography. So. ugh.

Favorite earrings

Thursday, 6 March 2014

Long time no see! I've got loads of work to do for my interview at the art academy next week, where i'm applying for fashion photography. And there's sooooo many schoolwork to be done. But, i've got some really good news to tell you: i'm admitted to lifestyle & design at the WDKA in rotterdam! Such a relief, cause when my interview next week sucks, i've still got a fun school to look forward to!

(back to the photos again) Because of my kinda huge hair, pretty tiny earstuds aren't an option for me. So when choosing earrings, i always go for statement ones. Which is also the reason why i'm not wearing earrings that often, but when i do, i'm doing it strikingly ;)

Intimacy

Sunday, 2 March 2014

I consider underwear as something private and intimate, something i like to keep for myself. I do not even feel comfortable wearing swimwear during summer, let alone showing it to the whole wide world. (Of course it's slightly different when an item is displayed and not worn by yours truly, but still it's not really my thing.)
Although, for this lovely petite bra from Monki i'd love to make an exception! Paired with some other gifts (thanks mom for the perfume! thanks moi for the bracelet!) it makes the perfect romantic scenery as well.
