Florence and the Machine

As i already told you i went to Florence and the Machine this weekend, and it was só amazing! Dönja and i sang along with all the songs, danced till our feet hurt like hell and enjoyed every second. And Florence is just so beautiful, i can talk hours about her. I'm sure i'm there biggest fan (yeah i know, everyone is saying that. But whatever. I'm saying it too.) and i was so nervous before the concert. Haha, i'd never expected people could be nervous about a concert. But i really was.
The performance was just amazing and when they're in Holland again, i'll also be there!
The warm-up program was Spector, a band i didn't know, they were great! You might know this song (click). They're definitely worth checking out!

Back from Amsterdam

Long time no see! I went to Amsterdam this weekend and totally forgot to plan a post. Hope that excuse is good enough ;) I went with my friend Dönja. Saturday we went to Florence and the Machine and sunday we did some shopping. We slept at my aunts place, they're living on a houseboat which was really wonderful!
I never missed so many buses before, never had such painful blisters, never met so many helpful people and i've never been so excited about a concert that even my best friend asked me if i felt okay haha.
It was just an amazing weekend!

The more i see, the less i know, the more i like to let it go

I'm so looking forward to tomorrow and the days after that! Tomorrow i'll have my last test, after that a Florence + the Machine midday with my friend Dönja (as a preparation for the concert ;), and than i'll fondue with some other friends. Friday i'm going to Magnetron Music in Zwolle and Saturday there's an amazing party full of Lowlands-friends.
In short: doing a lot of fun things with a bunch of friends!

New in: velvet doc martens

I bought my first pair of Doc Martens this week. And i'm so happy with them! Although i still need to get used to it, i love the grungy effect it gives to a look. Sure i'll wear them a lot!

To busy chasing stars to see the fading light

Sorry for staying away so long without any warning, but this week my testweek started and i'd kinda underestimated it... Thursday will be my last test so i still need to study, but first of all: a four days long weekend! Tonight i'm going to a concert from Eefje de Visser, a dutch singer. And Sunday and Monday there are some big parties in town, so it will be a fun weekend!

Back to the photos again: a few weeks ago i did a shoot with dear friend Alinde for my portfolio. And she did such an amazing job! First it was kinda stressing because the location was set on fire just half an hour after we decided we'd shoot there, but luckily there was another -and actually way better- building with loads of graffiti. And i'm just in love with the result! Thank you so much Alinde! I couldn't think of a better way to start with my portfolio.

It's so funny to see all these people posing in front of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul. So i wanted to join them!

Istanbul buys

This are my purchases from Istanbul. They had soooo many pretty stuff there, but my wallet just didn't agree. :(
I also bought some beautiful fabrics, you'll see them when the clothes i'll make from them are ready! And of course souvenirs. And a book. But i think these are just not really blog-worthy.
