Prada x Wes Anderson

Monday 30 March 2015

Today i came across this video of Prada, shot by Wes Anderson. Two of my favorite things together could only mean one thing: a perfectly styled (short) movie. And that's just like it is! The colour schemes are on point every time, and the whole atmosphere is amazing. Perfect as your company for dinner, or to watch during a study-break!

Flowered flares

Whoops, failed again  with my non buying policy at H&M... Oh well, at least they fit with my new Polette glasses.

New glasses

Tuesday 24 March 2015

5 minutes after i came home the doorbell rang. Since i was already expecting my glasses from Polette today i ran downstairs as fast as i could and indeed, the mailman was there! I opened the package and 2 amazing pair of glasses where looking at me. And a true miracle: they even looked good on me haha! Normally glasses don't suit me, but on the website from Polette you can take a picture with your webcam and try the glasses on. Another benefit: they offers glasses for a great price, since they're being the only intermediate between the factory and customer. So perfect for a student! These 2 pairs cost $68 in total, which isn't expensive at all, considering that i have prescription glasses.
Do i need to say more? Check it out here (click)!

Ps. I want to mention as well that their costumer service is great. They helped me a lot with answering questions about the order and fixed everything when i'd done something wrong. And thank you Fielmann for giving me a free eye test!
Pps. Have you checked my Instagram already? I posted a photo wearing the see-through framed glasses!

Instagram diary

Friday 20 March 2015

Yeeey, a new post again! I've been super busy with school lately (had a big presentation on wednesday) so unfortunately i couldn't update before. I will probably stay busy but i'll try to keep my blog up-to-date, of course. Fun news on the other hand: in 2 weeks time i will follow lessons at the fashion department of school! As most of you probably know i'm doing the preparatory year at art school now and after this i want to do fashion & textile design. This means that in the following weeks i'll discover if it's how i expected it to be and if i totally fit in there. How exciting! I will definitely keep you posted about some great finds on instagram.

Out of the blue

Saturday 14 March 2015

I actually made an agreement with myself 2 years ago that i wouldn't buy anything at H&M anymore. A pair of socks and some jewelry excluded i totally succeeded. But then this flared beauty came along on multiple fashion blogs...
I couldn't get it out of my head anymore, so when i found a job offer for one night and sold some old clothes i felt like it was justified to buy them :) And i couldn't be happier with the decision!

This good weather totally gives me the summer vibes and makes me want to buy a new wardrobe instantly. Please, someone, hold my wallet!

Nineteen by Nils Völker

Sunday 8 March 2015

Fien and i visited this very spacial art installation 'Nineteen' in Groningen from the German artist Nils Völker. He made a sight specific work with golden foil, which is sort of breathing. The crackling of the foil, the container surrounding and reflection of the light are all contributing to a very special experience.
And we figured this would be the perfect location to shoot an outfit post! To be honest i wasn't prepared/dressed for this but i think it turned out quite okay after all :)

If you want to know more about the installation you can watch a video on his Nils Völker his website here.

Weird hand poses, vising art works, Fien, coffee breaks and a bit of shopping. Yep, that were my last two weeks.

Last week i could finally scan the developed photos from my disposable camera. All the pictures were shot in december so it was about time!
