I actually made an agreement with myself 2 years ago that i wouldn't buy anything at H&M anymore. A pair of socks and some jewelry excluded i totally succeeded. But then this flared beauty came along on multiple fashion blogs...
I couldn't get it out of my head anymore, so when i found a job offer for one night and sold some old clothes i felt like it was justified to buy them :) And i couldn't be happier with the decision!

Fien and i visited this very spacial art installation 'Nineteen' in Groningen from the German artist Nils Völker. He made a sight specific work with golden foil, which is sort of breathing. The crackling of the foil, the container surrounding and reflection of the light are all contributing to a very special experience.
And we figured this would be the perfect location to shoot an outfit post! To be honest i wasn't prepared/dressed for this but i think it turned out quite okay after all :)

The thing i definitely miss in The Hague is this particular spot to take pictures, i absolutely love the rusty walls and industrial feeling. It gives the perfect bit of extra to an outfit!

It's 3 in the afternoon and my eyes are almost closing. The last few days were great (awesome school party, spending a day in Amsterdam, working for Copperfield gallery on Art fair Rotterdam) but super exhausting. I'm probably going to take a nap now; see ya later!

After fridays presentation day i took the weekend off, doing nothing. Well, nothing... On saturday i went to Groningen to see a couple of bands which was a lot of fun, and after that i had a party in my old home town with friends. The day after i went to my grandparents after sleeping way too long haha. My grandpa took some photos of me as well, and apparently one of them is almost the same as the photo he took of my grandma years ago; how cool! You can check it on my instagram here.

The day that i wrote my first blogpost feels like yesterday, while it's actually more then 4 years ago. I can't believe that time went by so fast! Honestly i never expected to keep it up for so long, but as i continued blogging it began to get more and more fun. Cheers to that!

Sorry for the loooong silence here, truth is i've been very busy! I will not bore you with all my activities but i can tell you that the presentation for the fashion department of school went extremely well (last year i did admission for fashion photography where i didn't get accepted, so i decided to go to the preparatory year. A month ago i decided to switch my focus to fashion & textile), and my birthday on tuesday was a lot of fun. This weekend i also went to a vintage kilo sale where i bought this beau-ti-ful coat!

Whoops, apparently something went wrong with this post! It was supposed to be posted yesterday but somehow it didn't went online. I'm sorry! I will try to make it up to you this week, although i'm not completely sure if i have the time, cause i've got some exciting things planned! Tomorrow i will start with a sewing workshop at school to learn how to work with the machines, on wednesday i'm going to the theater and the day after to Bombay Bicycle Club with Fien in Amsterdam! Probably we're going to a museum before and on friday we'll continue visiting museums in Rotterdam. Aaaaand because you can never go too many times to Amsterdam, Bianca and me will be going there again on Saturday to do some serious Christmas shopping!

I feel like ever since i moved to The Hague, my style got more sophisticated. The city is influencing me in a good way! There's so much more creativity going on and all the people are so friendly, which is something i didn't expect to find in a big city. Because the government is based here there are a lot of businessmen flying around and this busy, volatile atmosphere is something i really adore. Maybe they're are also the reason why my way of dressing changed?

I have to admit that even though i hate rain (and that's an understatement), i really love fall. It's a season where you can wear almost anything you like- long sleeves, short sleeves, jumpers, silk tops. You can layer as much as you like or just stick with one item, as long as you bring a jumper for colder moments that can show up out of the blue.
Therefore i also really love this new jumper from Oasap, which is giving you warmth but not too much. And the best part is that you can combine it in many many ways! In this outfit i'm showing you a kinda chic way to wear it, but it's also perfect with normal jeans for a casual monday.

I'm a sucker for everything variegated (although clothes are an exception sometimes), therefore i love summer with all the bright flowers. And since my grandparents garden is full in bloom at the moment, i thought it would make the perfect spot to take some outfit photos!
